NBR chairman’s WhatsApp number 'hacked'

The National Board of Revenue says that the WhatsApp social media account of Chairman Md Abdur Rahman Khan “has been hacked”. The tax collection agency’s Public Relations Office made the announcement on Wednesday. Confirming the breach, NBR spokesman Md Al Amin Sheikh urged the public “to avoid confusion on the matter”. When contacted on his mobile phone to discuss the issue, the NBR chairman disconnected the call.
