The International Cricket Council (ICC) has suspended USA Cricket's membership, as it builds safeguards to protect athletes and the sport's Olympic aspirations. The measures were announced in a media statement, issued on 23 September. ICC, after a thorough review of affairs and extensive engagement with key stakeholders over the past year, today confirmed the suspension of ICC membership status of USA Cricket, with immediate effect.
