NEW YORK, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today expressed profound shock at the death of firefighter Shamim Ahmed, who succumbed to injuries in a devastating fire at a chemical warehouse at Tongi in Gazipur district in Bangladesh on Monday. In a condolence message, the Chief Adviser, who is now here in the USA to attend the 80th United Nations General Assembly, prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
