Nine held for committing robberies in Fatullah DPDC power substation | Others

NARAYANGANJ, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested nine individuals from Demra, Sarulia and Fatullah in connection with a robbery at an under-construction DPDC power substation in Fatullah, Narayanganj. The arrested have been identified as alleged ringleader Md Liton, (37), Akter Hossain, (44), Roman, (32), Riaz, (38),Saidul Islam, (31),Rafiqul Islam, (28), Sagar Munshi (38), Md Arif (26) and Shahidul (40). The nine were arrested in separate raids at Dhaka's Demra and Sarulia and Fatullah of Narayanganj district, said a press release.
