Bangladesh reports one dengue death, 664 admissions in a day

Bangladesh has recorded one more death from dengue fever over the past 24 hours, while another 664 people have been hospitalised. This tally of deaths rose to 182 this year, and the total number of hospitalisations this year to 43,173. According to the health directorate’s bulletin on Tuesday, the female patient, aged 29, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The month of September has seen a notable spike, with 60 deaths reported until Tuesday, surpassing the previous high of 41 fatalities in July.
