OSLO, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Norway's government said Tuesday that Russiahad violated Norwegian airspace three times this year, branding the incidents"not acceptable". It said a Russian SU-24 fighter jet entered Norwegian airspace for fourminutes on April 25, followed by a L410 Turbolet transport aircraft thatstayed for three minutes on July 24. Most recently, on August 18, an SU-33 fighter jet was in Norwegian airspacefor a minute. "Russia has violated Norwegian airspace on three occasions this spring andsummer," Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store said in a statement.
