BANGKOK, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Four people were killed in flooding incentral Thailand, the nation's disaster agency said Tuesday, with more heavyrain forecast this week during the annual monsoon. More than 250,000 people across several provinces on the Chao Praya riverbasin were impacted by the floods this week, the Department of DisasterPrevention and Mitigation said in a statement. Two men drowned in Ayutthaya province, north of the capital Bangkok, whilemoving their belongings through floodwaters, and another was killed after hisrowboat capsized in Phetchabun province.
