Jubo League leader held in July Uprising murder case | Others

DHAKA, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Monday arrested a leader of the Jubo League in connection with a murder case linked to July Uprising case from Fatulla Thana area on Narayanganj district. The arrestee was identified as general secretary of Ward No. 44 of Sutrapur Thana Jubo League Ujjal Das, (44), son of late Haripad Das, a resident of Justice Lalmohan Das Lane, Katherpool, Sutrapur, Dhaka. He was arrested in a murder case in connection with the July Uprising filed with Sutrapur Police Station on September 1 in 2024, said a police press release.
