Three get life term in Pirojpur murder case | District

PIROJPUR, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today sentenced three people tolife-term imprisonment in a murder case at Mathbaria upazila of the districtin 2018. The court also fined them Taka 10,000 each, in default, to suffer six monthsmore in jail. Senior District and Sessions Judge Md. Mojibur Rahman delivered the verdicton Tuesday afternoon, said Public Prosecutor (PP) of the court Abul KalamAkon. The convicts are Md. Sohag Howlader, son of Shah Alam Howlader of Banshbuniavillage in Mathbaria upazila, Md. Sohag Mridha, son of Md. Monir Mridha ofBoro Shaula village and Md. Shahin Mallik, son of Md.
