A firefighter who suffered burn injuries while trying to douse a fire at a chemical warehouse in Gazipur's Tongi has passed away in a hospital in Dhaka. The fire extinguisher, Shamim Ahmed, died around 3:00pm on Tuesday, September 23, at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Talha Bin Jashim, media cell official at the Fire Service and Civil Defence, told Jago News.
