Seven injured in Mohakhali petrol pump fire

Seven people have been injured in a fire at a petrol pump in Dhaka’s Mohakhali. The incident reportedly occurred at a station named Gulshan Service Centre in Amtoli on Tuesday. The victims were admitted to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery afterwards, according to Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon at the institute’s emergency department. “Seven people were brought in with burns around 1:30pm. They were injured in a fire at a pump in Mohakhali’s Amtoli,” he said. A senior staff nurse at the emergency department said their condition was "not good".
