BNP has not yet given the ‘green signal’ to any candidate for the upcoming parliamentary elections, the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on Tuesday. Responding to recent media reports on the party’s nominations, he said that at the appropriate time, BNP would scrutinise candidates through its prescribed process, select qualified ones, and then announce their names.
