Yunus offers condolences to family of slain Bangladeshi NYPD policeman on US trip

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has offered his condolences to the family of Didarul Islam, an American policeman of Bangladeshi origin who was killed in a gunman’s attack in New York in July. He also presented a crest to Didarul’s family members as a mark of respect when they met him at his hotel in New York on Monday night local time, according to state news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).
