NCP leader Akhter Hossen pelted with eggs at New York airport

National Citizen Party (NCP) Member Secretary Akhter Hossen has been harassed and hit by eggs after he arrived at New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport alongside Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus to attend the 80th United Nations General Assembly. The incident occurred around 5pm local time on Monday as Akhter was leaving Terminal 4 of the airport. Alleged Awami League leaders and activists threw eggs and harassed him while chanting the slogans “Joy Bangla” and “Joy Bangabandhu”. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
