NCP among 6 parties await EC’s final registration approval

The Election Commission (EC) is set to complete the registration process ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election. So far, six new political parties are expected to receive final approval for registration, including the National Citizen Party (NCP), Bangladesh Aam Janagan Party, Bangladesh Nezame Islam Party, and Bangladesh Jatiya League. Once signed by the commission, a public notice will be issued regarding the newly registered parties. According to EC sources, following field-level verification of 22 political parties, six have been finalised for registration. The concerned branch signed the documents on Sunday (21 September).
