Police have recovered the body of a young Rohingya woman, who had gone missing a week ago, from a canal in Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf. The body was recovered from Nhila Union’s Leda area around 7pm on Sunday, according to Abu Jayed Md Mazmun Noor, chief of the Teknaf Police Station. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Sajeda Akhtar, who lived at Kutupalong Rohingya Camp No. 3 in Ukhiya. Police have sent her body to the morgue at Cox’s Bazar for autopsy.
