Revenue collection in the first two months of the ongoing fiscal year has increased by 20.93 percent, with the National Board of Revenue collecting a total of Tk 544 billion. The NBR, however, fell short of its revenue target by approximately Tk 65.7 billion for July and August. According to the updated data released on Sunday, the target for these two months was Tk 612 billion. In the same period of the financial year 2024-25, the total revenue stood at Tk 455.16 billion.
