Asst primary school teachers to get higher grades after completing 10, 16 years in service | News

Dhaka, 21 Sept 2025 (BSS) – Assistant teachers at government primary schools across the country will now be eligible for higher pay grades upon completion of 10 and 16 years in service. This directive came with a letter issued by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. The letter, signed by Joint Secretary of the Ministry's School Branch-2 Rebeka Sultana, asked the Directorate of Primary and Mass Education to initiate the process of higher scale pay upgrades for the eligible assistant teachers.According to the letter, the opinion has been sent from the finance division in this regard.
