Rajshahi University syndicate suspends ‘dependent quota’, RUCSU on schedule

The Rajshahi University syndicate has also decided to suspend the “dependent quota”, while the administration has said the RUCSU election will be held on schedule. The decision came at an emergency syndicate meeting held at 5:15pm on Sunday, where two separate inquiry committees were also formed to investigate clashes involving teachers, administrative staff and students over the quota issue.
