Police nets 40, seizes explosives, drugs raiding Bihari Camp | Others

DHAKA, Sept 21, 2025 (BSS) – Police today said they seized several improvised explosives including petrol bombs and lethal weapons alongside contraband drugs and arrested 40 suspects in a protracted raid at the Bihari Camp at Mohammadpur area. A Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) statement said a contingent of 120 policemen under their Tejgaon division with assistance of Mohammadpur police station carried out the raid at the site, better known as Geneva Camp. “The raid started 4 pm yesterday and continued till 3.30 am today,” a police officer familiar with the anti-crime campaign said.
