ACC warns public against fraud impersonating its chairman’s private secretary | Others

DHAKA, Sept 21, 2025 (BSS) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today urged the public to remain vigilant against a person committing fraud by posing as the private secretary to the ACC chairman. In a press release, the anti-graft body said several cases of fraud had been committed in the past using the fake identities of the ACC Chairman, Director General, or other officials to settle cases or lure people. It said that, identifying as the PS to the ACC chairman, the fraudster has been calling individuals and former secretaries, promising exemption from charges or cases.
