The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has suspended admissions under the ‘education quota’ for class XI in the 2025–26 academic year, following a High Court stay order. The decision was announced in a notice signed by Professor Khondoker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, on Sunday (September 21). According to the notice, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee had earlier issued admission guidelines on August 10 regarding ‘education quota-2’.
