Govt reshuffles deputy commissioners in three more districts

The interim government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) in Chattogram, Narsingdi and Naogaon as part of a wider reshuffle in local administrations ahead of the 13th national elections. In a notice on Sunday, the Ministry of Public Administration said Naogaon DC Mohammad Abdul Awal has been transferred to Chattogram, with Monira Haque, a deputy secretary in the Secondary and Higher Education Division, replacing him. Meanwhile, Mohammad Anwar Hossain, a deputy secretary in the Health Education and Family Welfare Division, has been named DC of Narsingdi.
