Russian electrician at Rooppur power plant found dead in Pabna

A Russian national who worked at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Project has been found dead in Pabna’s Ishwardi. The body of Karpov Kirill, 26, was recovered from his flat in the Jigatola area on Saturday night, according to Additional Superintendent of Police Pranab Kumar Sarkar of the Ishwardi Circle. He worked as an electrician in the contractor company of the project ESKM. Afzal Hossain, chief of Ishwardy Ambagan Police Outpost, said that Karpov lived alone in a rented flat.
