DHAKA, Sept 20, 2025 (BSS)—Bangladesh captain Liton Das won the toss and sent Sri Lanka into bat first in their Asia Cup Super Fours opening game at Dubai International Cricket Stadium today. Bangladesh came into the Super Fours as Group runners-up, only losing to Sri Lanka. The match is therefore a kind of revenge for them apart from keeping their nose ahead for the final race. Mahedi Hasan and Shoriful Islam are back to Bangladesh playing squad for two changes from the previous game against Afghanistan, which they won by eight runs.
