Free, fair election possible through consensus: Badiul Alam | At a Glance

DHAKA, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) - Election Reform Commission chief Badiul Alam Majumdar today said that free and fair elections are possible only through consensus. He made the remarks as the chief guest at a discussion held this morning at the Gangni Upazila Parishad auditorium in Meherpur. Badiul Alam Majumdar said that the lower house will be based on constituencies, while the upper house will follow the proportional representation (PR) system.
