Export-import at Hili Land Port to remain suspended for 8-days during Durga Puja | District

DINAJPUR, Sept 20, 2025 (BSS) - Import and export operations through Hili land port here will be suspended for eight consecutive days from September 26 to October 3, marking the observance of Sharadiya Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu community. Sakhawat Hossain Shilpi, President of the Hili Land Port Importers and Exporters Association, confirmed it, saying that traders from both Bangladesh and India reached the decision through mutual consultation. He, however, said that unloading of goods inside the Panama Port will continue as usual on working days, except government holidays.
