2 killed in Bogura road accident | District

BOGURA, Sept 20, 2025 (BSS) - Two people, including a truck driver and his helper, were killed in a road accident at Shibganj upazila of the district early today. The deceased were identified as Minhaj, 35, a truck driver, and his helper Imran, 26. Both hailed from Patalkandi village under Bhuapur upazila in Tangail district. The accident occurred around 5:30 am in the Pakurtala area on the Rangpur-Bogura highway when a stone-laden truck hit another stationary truck from behind after the driver lost control over the steering, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kunderhat Highway Police Station Hafizur Rahman.
