Two killed in separate road accidents in Lakshmipur | District

LAKSHMIPUR, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) – Two people, including a four-year-old child, were killed in separate road accidents in Chandraganj and Ramgati upazilas in the district today. The deceased were identified as Tahiya Sultana, 4, daughter of Md. Sohel of Charshahi village under Sadar upazila, and Chamia Akhter, 25, daughter of Ripon Hossain of Tumchar village under Ramgati upazila. According to police and eyewitnesses, a tragic accident occurred in Chandraganj Bazar area when a covered van ran over the child, Tahiya Sultana, in front of the Raj Mukut Community Center.
