Misinformation being circulated centering DUCSU polls: CEC | News

DHAKA, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) – Prof. Mohammad Jahsim Uddin, the Chief Election Commissioner of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU), today said some vested quarters are disseminating misinformation about the already held DUCSU elections. Some online activists and social media groups are trying to mislead people and students by circulating fake and mythic information regarding DUCSU and Hall Union elections, a press release signed by the DUCSU CEC reads. He, however, thanked all parties for the successful 2025 DUCSU and Hall Union elections held on September 9 in a joyful, fair and enthusiastic atmosphere.
