DHAKA, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) - The Ministry of Housing and Public Works has suspended Deputy Director of Public Works Department Rashed Ahmed Sadi and its Assistant Director Bilal Hossain on various allegations of corruption and misconducts. It was alleged that they recommended government housing allocation without considering job grade and basic salary, demanding huge bribes from applicants in the allocation of D-1 and D-2 class houses, and were involved in irregularities in the performance of duties related to the allocation of houses.
