Chief legal aid officer post created under Legal Aid Services Act | Law and Court

DHAKA, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) - The post of Chief Legal Aid Officer has been created under the National Legal Aid Services Organization. The Law and Justice Division under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a notification to this end on September 15. The National Legal Aid Services Organization said the government has implemented Section 21C of the Legal Aid Services Act, 2000 in all districts from September 18.
