DHAKA, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) - A partial solar eclipse will occur on Sunday, but it will not be visible from Bangladesh. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release on Thursday said that according to Bangladesh Standard Time (BST), the eclipse will begin at 11:29:48 pm on September 21, reach its maximum phase at 1:41:54 am on September 22 and end at 3:53:36 am. It added that the total duration of the eclipse will be about 4 hours and 24 minutes. ISPR said the eclipse will be visible from New Zealand, eastern Melanesia, southern Polynesia and western Antarctica.
