DHAKA, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh U-17 national football team got off to a flying start in the SAFF U-17 Championship, defeating Nepal 4-0 in their opening Group A match at the Racecourse Ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka today. Saabir Islam opened the scoring for Bangladesh in the 30th minute. Shortly after the break, Opu Rahman doubled the lead in the 48th minute. Mohammad Arif added the third goal in the 50th minute and Mohammad Manik sealed the victory with the fourth goal in the 67th minute.
