AL, BCL leaders arrested for anti government activities  | Others

JAMALPUR, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch of Jamalpur Police in a drive arrested an Awami League (AL) leader and a banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader for involving in anti government activities from Dhaka on Wednesday night. Police in a press briefing said after changing the plot on August 5, 2024, Jamal Pasha,43, General Secretary of Jamalpur Pourasava ward AL and former councilor of the ward No-6 and Shahed Ali,21, Organising Secretary, District BCL went into hide. They took shelter in Dhaka and in various times the two leaders involved with subversive activities and conspiracy against the interim government.
