CEO, Chairperson of Evaly get 3 years jail in fraud case | Others

DHAKA, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today convicted Evaly Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mohammad Rassel and Chairperson Shamima Nasrin to three years of rigorous imprisonment in a fraud and misappropriation case from a customer. Metropolitan Magistrate Md Monirul Islam delivered the verdict and fined them Tk 10,000 each. In default, they will have to suffer additional three months jail. The court also issued warrants for their arrest as they were tried in absentia, court official Alamgir Hossain told the news agency.
