Charmonai Pir for holding national polls under PR system | Others

DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) Amir Mufti Syed Md Rezaul Karim, Charmonai Pir, today reiterated his party’s demand for holding the upcoming national polls under Proportional Representation (PR) system so that no dictatorship could return to country under any circumstances. “Thousands of our children made their supreme sacrifices in July Uprising as their expectation was to eradicate the dictatorship from the country forever. . .So the national elections should be held under PR system to compensate for the blood of the martyrs and injured as well,” he said.
