RANGPUR, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - An elderly woman Fatema Begum, 68, was killed in a road accident at the Pirganj bus stand flyover on the Dhaka-Rangpurhighway under Pirganj upazila in the district on Wednesday.Pirganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shafiqul Islam said theaccident occurred when a Rajshahi-bound passenger bus leaving Rangpur hit arickshaw van from behind, causing the rickshaw van passenger woman to fallonto the road.The killer bus ran over Fatema Begum killing her on the spot and sped away.Police later recovered the body of the...
