CUCSU election: 1063 nomination forms distributed, submission time extended for a day | Others

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS)- A total of 1,063 candidates have collected nomination forms, and 19 have submitted their nomination papers as of Tuesday to contest the elections of Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) and Hall Sangsad. The original deadline for issuing nomination papers was yesterday as per earlier schedule announced by CUCSU Election Commission. Following an application of CU unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) to extend the deadline for another two-day, the election commission has extended the time for one day for both collecting and submission of the nomination papers.
