Dhaka WASA disbands smoking at own compound | Others

DHAKA, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS) – Dhaka Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) today disbanded smoking at its main compound in the capital to save the employees and service recipients and others who visit the state-run entity from the direct and passive impact of tobacco smokes. “A huge number of people alongside the regular employees come to the WASA Bhaban every day. The ban will help them evade the adverse affect of smoking,” WASA’s deputy managing director said at a view exchange meeting.
