DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today urged all including the party activists to remain vigil to thwart any conspiracies and sabotage in a bid to disrupting the upcoming Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindus. Extending warm greetings to the Hindu community on the occasion, he stressed on maintaining communal harmony, a long-standing tradition in Bangladesh, according to a press release issued here. The BNP Secretary General alleged that a vested interest group in an ulterior motive may create division and an anarchic situation in society through far-reaching conspiracies for political gain.
