Farmer electrocuted in Rangpur | District

RANGPUR, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - A farmer was electrocuted and died in Khagrabandh Kaliganj Mandalpara village under Bishnupur union of Badarganj upazila in the district this morning. The deceased was identified as Charaf Uddin Mandal, 48, son of late Abdul Sattar Mandal of the same village. According to Badarganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM Atiqur Rahman, a branch of a bean plant at Charaf Uddin's house had become entangled with an electric wire.
