Shibganj declared as child marriage-free upazila | District

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) - With the slogan "My Upazila is my responsibility, let the life of the child be free from child marriage," Shibganj upazila of the Chapainawabganj district has been officially declared a child marriage-free upazila. The declaration was made at a function held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium this noon, organized by the Shibganj upazila administration with the support of the Strengthening Social and Behavior Change (SSBC) Project of World Vision Bangladesh. Shibganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Azahar Ali formally announced the upazila as free from child marriage at the event.
