Parveen Mahmud receives SAFA lifetime woman leadership award | Others

DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - Parveen Mahmud from Bangladesh received the 'Lifetime Woman Leadership Award 2025' at the SAFA Women Leadership Award Ceremony on Tuesday at Hotel Cinnamon Life, City of Dreams, Sri Lanka. She is the Chairperson of Manusher Jonnyo Foundation (MJF), MIDAS, HerStory Foundation and Shasha Denims PLC. She was the Chairperson, UCEP-Bangladesh and Acid Survivor's Foundation. Parveen Mahmud is the first woman President to lead the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and first female board member and the first female President to serve SAFA Board among professional bodies of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), apex accounting professional body of SAARC.
