ACC sues ex-RAJUK chairman Siddiqur Rahman | Others

DHAKA, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today filed a case against former chairman of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) retired major general M Siddiqur Rahman on charges of illegally amassing assets worth Tk.36.15 crore. “During his tenure as RAJUK chairman, he acquired assets worth of Tk.36,15,17,685, an amount which is inconsistent to his known sources of income,” ACC’s director general M Akter Hossain told a media briefing. He said the graft body filed the case accusing Rahman of “misconduct” as it appeared that the former RAJUK chief amassed the wealth abusing his power.
