Ex-NBR member Motiur, his wife sent to jail in graft case  | Others

DHAKA, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today ordered to send ex-NBR member Md Motiur Rahman, infamous for the “goat scandal” and his wife Laila Kaniz to jail in a graft case. Metropolitan Magistrate (MM) Md Monirul Islam after hearing the statement of the prosecution side passed the order while the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case produced them before the court after conclusion of their remand. The same court on September 14 granted their one-day police remand for interrogating in connection with the corruption case.
