Charges against Chattogram Mayor Sahadat Hossain have been dropped in three cases filed under the Special Powers Act and the Explosives Act during the Awami League government's tenure. Chattogram's Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Abdur Rahman issued the order in the presence of the BNP leader on Tuesday. "He was cleared in two cases in line with a state order, specifically from the Secretariat's law branch.
