37 firms get approval to export Hilsha to India | News

DHAKA, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS) - On the occasion of the upcoming Durga Puja, the Ministry of Commerce has granted approval for the export of 1,200 metric tons of Hilsha fish in favor of 37 enterprises. The export period has been fixed from 16 September, 2025 to 5 October, 2025. This information was disclosed today in an order signed by S. H. M. Magfurul Hasan Abbasi, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, said a press release. The government has imposed certain conditions on the export of Hilsha fish. These include: 1.
