Archaeological exploration activities inaugurated in Bagerhat | District

BAGERHAT, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS) – Archaeological survey and exploration activities have begun in four upazilas — Kachua, Mongla, Chitalmari, and Sharankhola — of the district in the fiscal year 2025-2026. The programme, under the Office of the Regional Director of Khulna and Barisal Divisions, started on Monday in Kachua upazila. Kachua Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Ali Hasan inaugurated the survey programme on the premises of the ancient Moghia Kali Temple, with Regional Director of Khulna and Barisal Division Lovely Yasmin in the chair.
