CUMILLA, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS) - A joint team of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection and the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority has fined 'Madina Food Products' Taka one lakh for various irregularities, including selling expired baby food, in the Kadra area under Laksam upazila of the district. The drive was conducted yesterday by a team led by Md. Kausar Mia, Assistant Director of the Consumer Rights Protection Department, Cumilla. During the inspection, the team found that the factory was selling expired baby food, using waste oil for frying, and operating in an unhygienic environment.
